UPCOMING EVENTS

MISSION STATEMENT

Number one goal: Everlasting Peace on Earth,

and everything that comes with it,

acheived through Knowledge, Reason and Understanding.

It sounds impossible once you consider all the compnents that cause it to fail. But then is it? In the Christian Bible it is written that 'With God all things are possible'. So with God's help this can be possible. But than isn't that idea of getting God's help an impossibility? Maybe, Maybe not.

In the 'Left Behind' series of books the writers try accomplish peace on earth by using an idea of war, armagedon. It also employess the idea that Jesus returns. And is based upon an interpretation of the Bible. So is this the way God would want it or could it even happen this way? A war which would involve the cost of human life? For me, I don't think it would be God's first priority. But I have good reason to believe so.

In the Christian Bible it lists 10 commandments with one of them being "Thou shalt not kill". For me this idea had been reinforced time after time while I've been on this journey, and its happened in many different ways.

In 2003, the most tramatic year of my journey, I would most often watch TV at night to try relax. Sometimes it involved television shows that often times showed human life being taken. By November 2003 I found myself needing to turn the TV off or turning away so I wouldn't view this happening. I couldn't bare to see it happening. It went on for weeks, and longer. Eventually things returned to what was normal for me. But that lead me into learning it all over again, but in a different way.

After realizing that God was there I would sometimes think in terms of how God would protect me. It often times involved him taking someones life. Than, afterwards, when I would be sleeping I would find myself in a dream protecting a freind, and In protecting that freind I would suddenly find myself taking a life, something that I would never do. This would cause me to suddenly wake. Then I would immediately tell God, hey, you're making me into a killer. But wasn't that what I was doing to God? I turned him into a killer.

But before these things happened there was something else that I learned in 2003, 'setting the expectation'. I never heard about the 'Left Behind' books prior to 2003. But then after I had I came to realize through events in my life that it wasn't a very pleasent idea, this armagedon, and these books had set an expectation of what would happen if Jesus returned. So I would question, if Jesus returned what would be the expectation? I knew what the answer would be for some.

The same day that I was working on this Mission Statement my daughter Melissa came into my room and started looking around. She noticed my 'Tears for Fears' CD, grabbed it from the stack, looked at it, than asked to play 'Mad World'. At first I didn't think anything of it other than she was sitting at my desk. But than when I looked at the CD I realized it was something that wasn't loaded on my iPod. I always enjoyed listening to the music on it so I wondered why. I took it and loaded it along with some others I thought I missed. Shortly afterwards I went out for some exercise and listened to it while I walked. When I woke the next morning, this morning, I was thinking about this Mission Statment. What I had originally said wasn't quite right. But the dream I had during the night also told me it wasn't right. While thinking about it the beginning of a song from that CD popped into my head. Its title was 'Sowing the seeds of Love'.

But that other component that the Christian believe, Jesus, is also a problem. The Christians would proclaim that they were right, which could invoke a war. Other religions would not believe he was Jesus, or sent by God. This may be how the "left Behind" writers decided to use war as a vehicle for peace. They may have realized themselves how difficult the task of Peace on Earth would be.

So how is this everlasting Peace on Earth possible then, and without war or violence? Start with the beginning of the Bible and move forward. Christians as well as the people of Islam use the ideas originally brought forth by the Jews to get to their own veiwpoints. Than bring into play God. So that too becomes part of my mission, bringing God back into the world by proving to everyone that He does in fact exist. Than showing His works, proving that He has worked in everyone's life along the way. But mostly through those who employ peaceful means as a way to get along with one another. But my Mission doesn't end here.

My Mission is also to bring into play His help to remove the evil that is in this world today, doing so as He sees fit, as it needs to be done, and than backing His play as He does it, as His defender, as He has been mine.

And my Mission also includes helping others who are willing to stand-up for God as I do in a non-violent way, by employing all the resources available including Him, and to work in lock-step with Him to fix those things that are broken.

And it is my Mission to meet before a joint session of Congress and the President of the United States to inform them that God does in fact exist and that He is watching them and that they too will stand before him in judgement for all they have done.

And my Mission also includes resolving that issue over the Presidents birth certificate.

World Peace means that issues that arise should not arise at all. There should be nothing that causes people to seperate from one another. So that too becomes part of my Mission, to bring forth Knowledge that removes the reasons for conflict.

But this now leads into another area, that of Balance. Everything must be Balanced with equally established sides and thats where Eve comes into play. She balances the idea that God is a Him. Is God a Him or a Her, has any one seen God?

Moses never did he only witnessed a burning bush. What about Noah? I don't believe he saw God either. So who has seen God. Now there are those that beleive Jesus is God but can that be true? Why would God come to earth as a specific color when in the list of 10 commandments He/She specifically said create no images that you worship. Thats what happened with the pictures of this white euorpean looking Jesus isn't it? People created images and then they began worshiping it. But they also created the image of a cross and worshipped it too. So did God goof with the first commandment. That would make Him/Her fallable.

So read the Adam and Eve story in the Bible again. Doesn't it say God created the woman for the man Adam? And doesn't the Man call the woman Eve because she was the mother of all living. So isn't God woman and man?

So how would God bring everlasting peace to the world? Guns and killing or Knowledge which brings balance to all things derived from the Bible? For me it would be God who would help bring forth the Truth which would usher in this New Balance.
